Every one has heard the slinky song I would presume, but for those few that may have not it goes like this.
And here is some historical information on slinky in case anyone was curious.
So what does all this have to do with anything, you ask? Well if you were to view life and compare it to a slinky perhaps things would be better understandable.
Slinky’s are springs they stretch and and go back.
They are flexible.
Life and learning is all about a spiraling affect.
Everyone loves a slinky.
A slinky seems to fit in everywhere.
And a slinky will always be around forever!
Blizzard
As much as I enjoy a cozy little snow storm, I can’t help but wonder…. is 20inches a little to much? Southeast Wisconsin gets slammed by a massive snow storm today. Schools were still open today, and the roads were treacherous on the way home. All my friends made it safely home, thank goodness. I hope this is it for big storms like this.

When it comes right down to business, we are all competing for the same thing. One cannot travel life alone nor should one have to. Rather two individuals are drawn together by some unseen force. However that same force can be the same thing that pushes them farther apart if the right balance is not maintained.

I hope everyone has survived the holidays. My family has and we are, for the most part, glad to see them come to an end. I hope the new year brings an uprising of good fortune and grand accomplishments. I have decided that everyone in the family should set some long and short term goals so that we may have some direction for the new year.
One of my own goals is that I still want to get our home ready to sell when the time comes. I also would like to see my children’s behavior make improvements and their education to move forward before the start of the next school year.
Activities are important and I would like to see more family activities done for the new year. This I believe should be an easily attained goal to reach for us. My goal for the kids are just to keep them busy throughout the summer.
I hope everyone has a bright New Year for 2008
