Help!! full Pointers

What does one do when you have one of your children start talking to you and then the others all chime in at the same time? Well this is what I and my husband decided to do. We decided to treat it just like the school. When someone wants a chance to speak they have to raise their hands. This works well for young children who still don’t recognize the perfect moment to interject.

What about meal times? Oh my goodness don’t get me started. Meal times are the most stressful times in our household at the moment. All we hear from the kids is; “I don’t like that!” or I want something else.” Unfortunantly the something else is always some that no one wants either. In comes the solution. We now give two options for meals and if there is to much chatter or goofing off, the timer is set for 10 minutes after the 20 minute meal time. Most of the time it works for all three children. There is always one stubborn one who just refuses to play along and make things easy.
